Profit and loss calculator
Work out what a trade made or lost, before or after you close it, including fees.
- Price move in your favour
- —
- Profit / loss after fees
- —
- Return on position value
- —
How it works
Price move = exit − entry for a buy, or entry − exit for a sell. Profit/loss = price move × units × exchange rate − fees. Return = profit/loss ÷ position value.
Worked example
Buy 100 units at 100 and exit at 108: price move +8; gross 800; minus 2 in fees gives 798; return on position value 7.98%.
Things to watch
- Enter spread, swap and commission yourself as fees.
- If the quote currency differs from your account currency, the exchange rate changes the result.
- The output is a calculation, not a guarantee.
