How it works
Rates come from the European Central Bank through Frankfurter and update once per business day, around 16:00 CET. They are reference rates, not the buy and sell rates of a bank or money changer.
Worked example
For example, converting 100 USD to IDR uses the latest reference rate, so the result changes from day to day.
Things to watch
- Use your bank’s or broker’s own rate for real transactions.
- Only the currencies the European Central Bank publishes are available.
